JC Club is held every Friday lunchtime from 12.20 - 1.10 for anyone who wants to come. The club is run by Anne Heggarty from Insight and volunteers from St Paul's Church (Nova Smith & Fiona Cole).

JC Club is a Bible club for anyone who wants to find out more about the Christian faith. We look at different Bible stories or key themes from the Bible together, through craft, games, stories, quizzes and prayer. The children can come and ask questions, we welcome anyone who wants to come along.

This year we started with a Bible overview looking at how the Bible fits together and how God keeps His promises throughout the Bible. In the Spring term we looked at some of the different houses that Jesus visited in Luke's gospel. The children particularly enjoyed seeing how the people's lives were changed when meeting Jesus. We also started a memory verse challenge each week. Children would take away one verse from the Bible story and learn it, if they could recite it the next week they got extra points. They loved the challenge and it has become a regular feature now. This term we have been looking at prayer; how we pray and the different things we can pray for. Each child has made a prayer book and adds different prayers each week.

If you want to know more come along on a Friday lunchtime.
