      Parent Forum

All parents and carers are warmly welcomed to come along to our next Parent Forum at 7pm on Wednesday 7th February. We will have an opportunity to talk about any issues they would like to raise, including homework... and that homework policy can be found here.

      STEM Day

On Tuesday 27th March, the whole school will be spending the day celebrating and enjoying the STEM subjects (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths).  If any parents or carers work in or have a particular interest in any of these areas, please could you let Mrs Ford or Miss Pitfield know via the office.

      Thank you in advance.

On the afternoon of Thursday 11th January, one child from each class from years 3-6 went to Waterstones to choose new reading books for their class.  Whilst we were there, the manager of Waterstones showed us many recommendations of books she had read and was able to guide us to books that our peers would enjoy.  Each child was able to bring back 6-7 books that day to share with their class and the rest will be ordered at a later date.  The afternoon was a lovely experience and we are so proud of how well the children represented the school and chose books to suit all readers.  There was a clear 'buzz' around the school of reading for pleasure!

Thank you to the PSA for funding the visit.
